While it's hard to go wrong with an all-white kitchen, recently I've been exploring some different palettes that are a little less expected but have an equally classic, timeless appeal. Like this warm family kitchen by Katie Hackworth of H2 Design with its black cabinetry with very soft green upper cabinets, white subway tiles and sage green paint and upholstery. Carrara marble counter tops and stainless steel appliances add a bit of modern sleekness and brass hardware and lighting adds a bit of a traditional tone. The look is modern, yet elegant and timeless and in keeping with a more traditional style of home. Little touches like the charming little Fox portrait make the space feel warm and friendly. I love that Katie also incorporated a built in dining nook - perfect for casual family meals.
