Meticulously styled and staged editorials can be incredibly inspiring and push you out of the box a bit and visually take you to spaces and places you've never seen or imagined. But often they are really more aspirational than realistic for everyday lives and budgets and I find the best inspirations from real life spaces. While perusing through Air bnb options in London (no trip planned, just like to look :) ), I was taken by the clean all white aesthetic of Tess's light and spacious garden flat. The space is flooded with sunlight coming in from the conservatory just off the open kitchen area. Conservatories are not an uncommon feature in English homes. I love how they bring in lots of natural light and a bit of the outdoors into the home, I wish they'd be used more often around here as well. Tess's space is simply decorating with small personal details and hints of travel, but used sparsely and without creating any visual clutter. Definitely seems like a calm and comfortable home away from home to enjoy during a visit to London.
