Nothing I love more than a rainy evening and a few free hours to spend some time crawling around the web with no particular agenda in mind. It's always when I find the best things. More often than not, one amazing find will lead to another! My favourite recent discovery on such an internet adventure was the Citizens of the World site - I immediately went into overdrive and felt like I was bookmarking every other thing. All about travel, spaces and style from far and wide. Totally my type of site! I'd seen their chic candles here and there previously but never actually gone and explored their site, but was so glad I finally did! One of their running features shares the spaces of like-minded, well travelled individuals and there are some real gems here. One of my favourites was the Sydney, Australia home of Monica Rouse who owns the online shop Miss Moncur - another amazing find, which carries beautiful fashion finds from around the globe. I love the simple, laid back style of Monica's home and the way she has seamlessly incorporated many of the treasures from her travels into the decor. Each piece tells a little bit of her personal story - like the framed black and white photos she took in Capri, or the multiple Buddhas reflecting her time spent living in Hong Kong. A beautiful example of real life, achievable style.
Be sure to check out the entire space and explore the Citizens of the World site here, and also the lovely treasures at Monica's site - Miss Moncur.
